Tonight is the Night

October 29, 2006

Last night! We took, over the entire season, 710 rolls of film. That’s 36×710= 25,560 photos!

I love a job where I get to talk to people. It’s great having a regular group of people around you, working close with you everyday, as well as an innumerable amount of interesting strangers to keep you entertained in the meantime. I laughed so much with this job. Here’s hoping that I find another one to continue the stretch.

Tonight, everyone dressed in early 1900s costume. The guests walked, one at a time, down the center of the parlor in a “promenade” after dinner. We took pictures of them as they came out, and I stayed after to mingle with people in their vacational excitement. As long as I can feed off the inexhaustable amount of happiness that radiates from good people enjoying themselves, things will be lovely.
